Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

SAM is an AI assistant that helps you turn a video into posts for social platforms and publish them after you approve. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Contact: your-email@example.com.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, username, email, and optional phone, country, company and use case you give at sign-up.
  • Content you add: videos you upload, transcripts created from them, your brand profile, drafts and published post records.
  • Your chat with SAM (Ask SAM). It is saved so you can come back to it, and you can delete it with the Clear button.
  • Connected account data: when you connect YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, we store the account name and ID and an access token (or refresh token) so SAM can publish for you. Tokens are encrypted. We never see or store your platform passwords.

How we use it

  • To transcribe your video, write content for each platform and publish it when you approve.
  • To show your posts, statuses and errors, and to retry failed posts.
  • To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data. We do not use data from Google, Meta or LinkedIn for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Services we use

  • Supabase: authentication, database and file storage.
  • Groq: speech-to-text and AI writing. The transcript, your chat messages and brand details needed for a request are sent to Groq.
  • Google / YouTube, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn: only the connections you authorize, only to publish your posts.

SAM's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

Your choices

  • Disconnect any account in SAM under Accounts. SAM asks Google, Meta or LinkedIn to cancel its access and deletes the saved login. If a platform cannot be reached, SAM tells you, and you can also remove SAM yourself: myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google), Facebook Settings > Business Integrations, and LinkedIn Settings > Data privacy > Permitted services.
  • Delete your account and all your data yourself in SAM under Settings > Delete my account, or email your-email@example.com. See how data deletion works.
  • If you remove SAM in Facebook Settings, Facebook sends us a deletion request and we delete the saved Facebook and Instagram logins for that Facebook account.

Storage and security

Uploaded videos are stored privately and are only available to your account. Saved logins are encrypted and are never shown in the browser. Other users cannot see your data. SAM administrators can see account details, posts, drafts and chat history when they need to run the service or help you with a problem. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
